I am a 58-year-old mother of two adult daughters and have been blind since birth. By profession, I am a piano tuner and Braille instructor.
I have many hobbies, but the most important of them is music. I play the piano myself. I sing in a choir and sing alone and as a duet with my husband. I listen widely varying types of music. In addition, I work as a musician in a parish and a pensioners' association.

Other important ways to relax include moving around in nature with a guide dog, swimming and reading.

My family, good friends and socialising with people of different ages give me strength.
